Seamless Conductor Rails: Optimal Power Transmission for Overhead Cranes
Seamless conductor rails are a rail system used for power transmission typically applied in cranes, electric hoists, and other mobile equipment. Unlike traditional busbars, the seamless busbar has no gaps between the rails, ensuring continuous power supply and higher operational reliability.
Features
- The conductor is made of oxygen-free copper, offering excellent conductivity, purity, uniform color, and a smooth surface.
- The crane operates smoothly, with the collector traveling quietly and without malfunction due to vibrations, ensuring reliable contact with no failures.
- The insulator is made of PVC+ impact-resistant, UV-resistant, specially formulated material, providing excellent physical properties.
- No joints, resulting in low voltage drop.

Seamless conductor rails are generally classified into three types: 3-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole seamless conductor rails. They provide uninterrupted power supply, using oxygen-free copper for power transmission. The features include minimal voltage drop, excellent conductivity, good contact performance, easy installation, resistance to wear, easy replacement, and convenient transportation. Additionally, they are less likely to cause damage to the conductor rails, thereby extending their service life.
Installation view
- For 3-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole conductor rails with curvature, side installation must be used.
- At the starting point of the turn, a sliding clamp should be installed every 0.5m.
- The terminal power tensioner for 3-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole busbars should be installed approximately 5mm higher than the sliding clamps.
- 3-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole conductor rails are not suitable for outdoor use or environments with high acid and alkali content.
