RGV Transfer Carts/Trolleys for Automated Material Handling
The transfer cart is a type of track-guided transfer cart with autonomous navigation and material handling capabilities. It can move, transport, and store materials according to preset paths and programs, and achieve automation through computer control. It is a common type of modern industrial robot.
Description
- The RGV transfer trolley is an automated storage and retrieval system used for storing individual locations, continuously storing multiple locations, picking individual locations, picking a specified number, converting between A and B sides, and transferring goods.
- It can be programmed to perform tasks such as picking, transporting, and placing, and can communicate with an upper computer or WMS system. Combined with RFID and barcode identification technologies, it achieves automated identification and storage/retrieval functions.
- The RGV transfer trolley is divided into two types based on movement mode: one with a circular path and one with a linear reciprocating path. It is mainly used in various high-density storage warehouses, significantly increasing the overall storage capacity of the warehouse. Due to its high acceleration and movement speed, it is suitable for transporting heavy workpieces.
- The RGV trolley can connect multiple logistics nodes, featuring speed, simple configuration, and easy maintenance. In some logistics solutions, it can replace conveyor systems that are relatively complex and less mobile. Depending on the scale and frequency of logistics, the system can employ multiple RGVs operating simultaneously to meet actual requirements.
- The control of the RGV transfer cart is completed by its scheduling control system. Changes in logistics paths and working modes can be achieved by resetting the relevant parameters of the control system.
