Heavy Duty Ladle Transfer Cars/Carts/Trolleys for Molten Metal Transport
Ladle transfer car is equipment used in the steel and foundry industries to transport molten metal. Its main function is to transfer molten steel or molten iron from the furnace to casting, forging or other processing areas. Due to high temperature and high safety requirements, ladle trucks have higher requirements for body materials, transmission systems, and electrical control than ordinary transfer trolleys.
Feature
- It is suitable for the transfer of steel ladle and high temperature hot slag ladle containing molten liquid metal. The power supply method mostly adopts low-voltage rail power supply.
- The transfer cart is equipped with heat-insulating materials to resist high temperature.
- The starting and stopping speed is kept at 0-20m/min to prevent spilling of steel or slag.
- Generally, double transmission system is adopted, in which one set of system fails, the other set ensures that a process cycle can be completed.
- Remote wireless control system can be adopted to realize unmanned operation.
