Rail transfer cart is a transport vehicle that travels on fixed tracks.   • It uses a safe seamless sliding contact line power supply method. The sliding contact line can be set under the transfer cart and utilize a trench flipboard design for protection. Alternatively, the sliding contact line can be installed overhead or on the wall beside the railcar.

  • It does not have any extra power carriers and uses a 380V/220V power source.

KPDS Low Voltage Rail Powered Electric Transfer Cart

  • By using a step-down transformer, the three-phase 380V AC is reduced to a safe voltage of 36V and connected to three tracks. The power pickup device on the electric flat car introduces the 36V current into the car, which is then stepped up to 380V by an onboard step-up transformer to power the traction motor. The control system manages the start, stop, forward, and backward movements of the transfer vehicle.
  • This series of cars can run on S-shaped tracks and curved tracks. It offers high safety performance and strong flexibility during use. However, the running track requires insulation treatment and has high requirements for track laying. When the running distance exceeds 70 meters, a transformer needs to be added to compensate for the voltage drop.
  • This series of electric flat cars is suitable for places with heavy loads and high usage frequency, and can meet the requirements for full automation.

KPDZ Low Voltage Rail Powered Electric Transfer Cart

  • The 380V AC power supply is reduced to AC 36V through a transformer and connected to two tracks. The power pickup device on the electric flat car introduces the AC 36V power from the tracks into the onboard electrical box. The control system manages the motor’s start, stop, forward, backward, and speed control.
  • This series of cars can be used on S-shaped tracks, curved tracks, and in high-temperature environments. A PLC system can also be added for full automation control.
  • This series of electric flat cars features high safety, strong maneuverability, high usage frequency, long operation time, long service life, and unlimited running distance.
  • The requirements for track laying are high (insulation treatment is needed). If the running distance exceeds 80 meters, the number of transformers needs to be increased to compensate for the voltage drop on the tracks.

  • Powered by cable, the AC380V power supply is delivered to the traction motor through the cable. The control system manages the motor’s start, stop, forward, and backward movements.
  • The operating system voltage is a safe 36V.
  • The cable is wound and unwound by a cable reel device on the transfer trolley. The reel device is installed under the electric transfer cart. A PLC system can be added for full automation control.
  • Suitable for harsh environments, high-temperature environments, and explosion-proof environments. Due to its relatively simple structure, it is low-cost and commonly used for cross-bay transfer in workshops.
  • Compared to battery-powered electric transfer trolleys, its usage time is not limited. Compared to low-voltage rail-powered electric transfer carts, it has lower requirements for track laying.
  • Suitable for any load capacity and high usage frequency occasions. If the running distance exceeds 50 meters, a wiring device needs to be added to assist with cable winding, with a maximum running distance of 200-400 meters.
