The client sent the first inquiry dated on Dec 18th, 2022, there are a total of 8 sets of double girder overhead cranes and 1 set of single girder overhead crane, this design adopts European design, for double girder overhead cranes, we had submitted two options for customer choose: one is for hoist trolley design, the other one is winch trolley design, these cranes are used in the aluminum production plant, one of the cranes require semi-automation operation, which has strict working condition, with high working temperature reach to 400℃, all the cranes required anti-sway control, and true vertical lifting, we suggest the client to choose winch trolley design.
After several communications and design modifications, the client decided to arrange a factory visit in Apr 2023, they are quite satisfied with our factory production capacity, facilities, and environment, we had a pleasant meeting and finalized the crane specifications and requirements, after the client get back to Jordan, they placed the order to us.
The crane’s max span length is reached to 29 m. The client hopes to keep the girder to one piece, so for the girder and trolley, we adopt bulk-carrier shipment, for the rest, we adopt container shipment. Crane production is completed within 3 months, and the client has arranged SGS inspection for the quality check, and dimension check, the final result is acceptable.
Here is the advantage of QDXX overhead crane design:
- Lifting speed has more than two speeds, which are controlled by variable frequency inverter, the speed can be changed smoothly without impact.
- Motor/reducer/brake has split design, easy to repair and replace parts.
- The rope drum has independent support and can be replaced independently without lifting the whole trolley. There is an independent maintenance platform.
- Independent brake, you can directly observe the wear of the brake pads, with automatic compensation function, manual release function, friction pad replacement alarm function (optional), easy adjustment, convenient for maintenance.
- Heavy-duty design with lifting capacity 5-500 ton Suitable for hoisting large equipment such as steel mills, hydropower stations, aerospace, nuclear power plants, etc.
